ROLLOUTS & REMODEL PROGRAMS
James D. Smith and his team of experienced project managers and CAD operators across the U.S. are equipped to offer architectural and engineering services for rollouts and remodel programs with extremely competitive rates and turnaround times. 

When Dunkin’ Donuts offered an incentive program to their franchisees, James D. Smith Architects was named as the exclusive firm for the program and completed over 1,000 remodels in just three years. When Quiznos decided to expand into New England, our firm was chosen as the exclusive architect for their rollout program and delivered eight to ten complete sets of Construction Drawings (CDs) each week when the program was in full swing. Our firm also handled 50 remodels for Qdoba Mexican Eats within a 2-month period in 2023 and 2024.

SITE SURVEYS
We also provide architectural survey services all over the country. Our surveys vary in scope, but typically include site visits and production of existing plans, elevations, photographs, utility information, and code research.

We offer anywhere from several site visits over an extended period to a great number of expedited surveys, ramping up as required by the specific needs of our clients. When Dunkin’ first introduced bagels as part of a nationwide rollout in the ‘90s, James D. Smith Architects expanded business to conduct 1,700 surveys for all existing Dunkin’ stores—all in a span of just four months.
